This one came outta nowhere. According to Blu’s manager, Jonathan Kim:

Blu is random as hell. He just emailed me, and said he dropped an Instro LP w/ no prior notice. Managing him for the last 3+ years, I’ve seen it all. He’s in his production shit now. Hence this FREE album “Open(TheInstrumentalLP).”

Full length album is coming soon. Don’t fret. He’s rapping. One of the last remaining rappers that choose to release shit off his Myspace page :) As non-chalant as he is w/ leaking music, there is always an end goal in mind, and be on the lookout for things to come.

He also said that the material on this LP is much better than the NoSleepForADay EP that Blu recently he put out via his MySpace, as the EP was Blu fucking around with the MPC to learn how to use it but this LP consists of some of the beats Blu has made over the last year, using shit like Pro-Tools.
