Lebron James is no stranger to having his own shoe. This time around he is given 2 Air Force 1 Low’s to commemorate his time at Ohio State and with the Cleveland Cavs. The OSU shoe features a black leather upper with a reflective underlay and patent leather swoosh. The white mid and outsole provide a stark contrast to the red laces, tongue tag and lining. The Cavs model is a very clean perferorated cream leather upper accented by maroon laces, tongue and lining resting atop a clear midsole and gum outsole. Both shoes are available at select retailers right now.

They sport off white leather on the toe area and lacing tabs, along with brown suede on the side panels, and elephant print on the heel panel. Finishing off the shoe is the black sole, which definitely gives it more depth. But is it just us or is the elephant print recycled too often when it comes to the Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 designs? Let us know what you think.

[Kicks] Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by La MJC

Following up on the Cool Cats visit to the Nike Bespoke Studio some time back, we now get a look at the product design that was worked up, designed by our friend Michael Dupouy of La MJC. Sharing similarities to the famous Staple colorway, the kicks feature a blend of grey color hues combined with the vibrant contrast of Nike’s infrared colorway. Taking advantage of the endless material uses, La MJC completes his sneaker concoction with a medley of suede, mesh, and premium leather, keeping the shoes design subtle yet classic.

[Kicks] GROTESK x +41 x NIKEiD Bespoke Air Force 1

The 2009 Swiss sneaker event Sneakerness took place last week with two well-known Swiss entities including artist GROTESK (now based out of Brooklyn, New York City) and the creatives over at +41 coming together in the design of a special Bespoke Air Force 1. The two group came up with a design by blending two iconic models, the Air Jordan Sky High and the Air Jordan III. Despite traditional colorway transfers, the final product is well-executed and clean. The lacelocks include dual branding with each side showing +41 and GROTESK.
